Department of Information Technology (DoIT)

The people who bring their skill and passion for technology and customer service to the Information Technology team are thinking about the future and working today on ideas like cloud-based storage and service, mobile app development, and many other new concepts. We work each day to deliver technology leadership and innovation to the twenty-seven County departments and offices.

The county has won four national Digital Counties awards for technical innovation and business leadership over the last ten years. IT values its employees and invests continuously in their technical skills and career development.

Meeting Business Challenges

The scope and variety of current services provided to the public is steadily expanding with both population growth and new technological capabilities. Mobile technology plays an increasing role in service delivery and public interaction, and is integrated into more than half of the current projects.
