Description Completed in August 2014
The county's Road Maintenance staff excavated a 36-inch diameter failing culvert under 123rd Avenue NE, and replaced it with an upgraded 96-inch wide arch culvert. The project was designed to improve drainage and fish passage, and maintain the integrity of the roadway.
The new culvert is also aligned with updated standards set by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
Construction ended on August 15, 2014 - ten days earlier than anticipated.
