Change Status

Log in to the eFile system, then:

    1. Click on the ‘My Account’ menu option.

    2. Click on the ‘View My Personal Property Filing Accounts’ link.

    3. From your list of personal property accounts, select the account you would like to change and click the ‘Open the Selected Account for Filing’ button.

    4. Click on the ‘Change Status’ tab.

    5. Click in the checkbox labeled ‘I want to report a Business Change of Status’.

        • If the business has been sold:

          - Click in the circle labeled ‘Business Sold’
          - Fill out the following information: New owner’s name, date of sale, mailing address, phone #, sale amount and breakdown.

        • If the business has closed:

          - Click in the circle labeled ‘Business Closed’
          - Fill out the following information: date of closure, disposition of assets, and forwarding address.

    6. When completed, click the ‘Save Changes’ button.
ChangeStatus
