180th St SE

Snohomish County's six-year Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) identifies several projects to improve conditions for pedestrians and motorists along the 180th St. SE corridor. One of these is a project along 180th St. SE beginning at the Bothell-Everett Highway (SR 527) intersection.

The county is proposing to add two lanes to bring 180th St. SE up to five-lanes between SR527 and 23rd Pl. SE (Phase I). Currently there are three lanes and gaps in the sidewalk. This project will also add sidewalks, curbing, and gutters.

Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in 2021-2022.
Phase II between 23rd Pl. SE and 35th Ave. SE is under consideration and has not yet been scheduled:
Construction schedules are subject to change based on a number of factors that include the availability of funding, length of the permitting process, coordination with other agencies, and weather.
