Plan Amendments

Snohomish County, as lead agency of the Snohomish County Urban County Consortium, seeks public review and comment on one proposed substantial amendment to the Consortium’s 2011 and 2015 Annual Action Plans.
Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan
The 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan establishes five-year goals that guide the use of annual grant funds received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development under the CDBG, HOME, and ESG federal grant programs.  The Annual Action Plans describe specific activities that have been awarded grant funds for that program year to help meet these five-year goals.
Plan Funding
The funds are used to provide support for affordable housing and community development projects which principally benefit low- and moderate-income households and neighborhoods within the county.
Proposed Amendment
A substantial amendment is sometimes needed after the Consolidated Plan or Annual Action Plan is adopted.  On such occasions, the County publishes notice of the proposed substantial amendment and provides the public with at least 30 days to comment.

View the Proposed Substantial Amendments for additional information on the specific amendments proposed.
Public Comments
Comments received will be taken into consideration before final action is taken on the proposed amendments. Send written comments on these proposed amendments to Sue Tracy via mail, e-mail, or in person by 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016.
