Our Projects

Juvenile Justice Mentoring
Our vision is "every kid has a caring adult" to support, guide, encourage, inspire, and be there as a sober and healthy presence who can help our kids transition from juvenile justice and re-engage with our community in positive and pro-social ways.

Our juvenile justice youth partner program kicked off in December 2013 with a community bowling event at Glacier Lanes in Everett. For more information on how to get involved, become a mentor, and/or make a donation to support our programs, contact Youth for Christ Community Fellow Steve Strickler via email or visit the Youth for Christ website.

Promising Artists in Recovery (PAIR)
The PAIR Program offers a variety of eight-week art workshops to teens in recovery. These workshops are designed to offer the learning of new skills within a positive relational environment with community artist mentors. Parents are invited to attend an orientation session and exhibit receptions with youth participants. Workshops are held at the Everett Public Library. The funding is provided by the Blanche Miller Trust and the Howarth Trust. The PAIR Program will also seek venues to exhibit the youth artists' work for a period of one year. At the end of the one-year period, the artwork may be retrieved by the youth artists.

Music Futures
Music Futures is a Music Mentorship Program that links at-risk Snohomish County youth with musicians. It inspires a positive outlet for creativity and an environment for positive pro-social activities. Our first session of music futures was very successful, and we are very proud of the youth that attended and graduated!
