Suspected S. Carpenter Rd Shooter Arrested

SNOHOMISH, Wash. – Deputies have arrested a 64 year-old male for 1st degree assault in connection with the shooting of a 48 year-old man which occurred at the 300 block of S. Carpenter Rd earlier today.  The hometown both suspect and victim is unknown.  Deputies detained and released at least four other people in connection with the incident, which may have started out as an attempted burglary.  No other arrests are expected to be at this time.  In the process of searching for suspects, several hundred marijuana plants were discovered.

SNOHOMISH, Wash. - Around 5:30 PM, deputies responded to a call of a possible home burglary at the 300 block of S. Carpenter Rd.  When they arrived, they found a 48 year-old male with a possible gunshot wound in the leg.  The victim told responding deputies that he believed the suspect was a while male with gray hair driving a white Dodge truck.

The victim is being transported to a nearby hospital with serious wounds.  Deputies are searching the scene, including a residence, for any suspects.  The road is currently closed in both directions.
