TULALIP, Wash. – The Snohomish County SWAT team is responding to the scene where a 36 year-old male has barricaded himself in a house following a domestic violence incident earlier this evening.  No one else is believed to be in the house.

The incident began around 6 p.m. when someone called 911 to report what sounded like a male and female arguing at the 7800 block of 27th Ave NE, Maryville.  Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived and two people exited the house, a 42 year-old female who was taken into custody on suspicion of domestic violence, and a 22 year-old male, who had sustained minor injuries in the incident.  The third male, who has a felony warrant for his arrest, stayed inside the home.  It is believed he is armed with a handgun.

Agency assistance is being provided by the Tulalip Police Department.  The Snohomish County SWAT Team is comprised of personnel from the Sheriff’s Office and Everett Police Department.
