Snohomish County Search and Rescue are on scene to rescue two subjects stuck on top of waterfall on Mt. Dickerman. Snopac (911) received a phone call today at about 3:15 PM from a passerby reporting 2 persons in their 20’s needed assistance getting down from a waterfall on Mt. Dickerman. Search and Rescue units responded to that location, in the 54800 block of the Mountain Loop Hiway.
At 4:00, dispatch received another 911 call reporting a female hiker needed assistance coming down from a trail at Perry Creek in the 53800 block of the Mountain Loop Hiway as she had a broken ankle from a fall.
Rescuers determined the two calls were not related. Additional Search and Rescue resources from Skagit County, Pierce County Mountain Rescue, and King County Mountain Rescue responded to assist in the rescue operations. At about 7:30 a rescuer had a medical event and was transported to a local hospital. The other rescue operations are still ongoing at this time.
