The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching the area east of Lynwood for an assault suspect driving a car he allegedly shot at after being asked to return it to the owner.

The vehicle is a light green 2001 Subaru Legacy with Washington license plate #468YJO with shotgun damage on the driver’s side door.  The suspect is a 6’4” male with short black hair, weighing approximately 240 lbs, last seen wearing a green Carhart hooded sweatshirt, dressed in camouflage pants, boots and baseball cap.

The incident began at the 19400 block of 24th Ave W in Lynwood around 11 AM this morning when the woman, who had lent her vehicle to the suspect, asked the suspect to return her vehicle.  He refused, allegedly leveled a loaded shotgun in her direction, shot the car’s driver side door and drove off.

Anyone who has information about the vehicle or suspect is asked to call 911 immediately.
