Request for Proposals (RFP)

INTERPRETER SERVICES, SPOKEN (Medical and Social Service Certified) - AMENDED

Snohomish County is soliciting responses from agencies interested in providing Interpreter Services, Spoken to establish up to two (2) additional qualified contractors. Preference will be given to agencies who are able to provide Interpreter Services, Spoken in American Sign Language. Successful RFP proposers from February 2019 solicitation do not need to respond to this RFP.


The purpose of soliciting services is to establish contracts for the purchase of interpreter services, spoken (Medical and Social Services Certified) on an as needed basis for the Snohomish County Human Services Department.  Upon award, these contracts will establish a listing of available interpreters who meet contractual requirements and may be contacted by end users requesting interpreters to provide spoken (face-to-face) interpretation for case managers and other social workers who meet with limited or non-English speaking clients and their family members.


The County expects to award contract(s) to serve all Snohomish County. Service provision under this contract exceeded $100,000 for calendar year 2018.  Funding for anticipated contracts is fee for service and subject to appropriation. There is no guarantee of business. The first period of performance would be January 1, 2020.    


Snohomish County Long Term Care and Aging developed the Request for Proposal describing the RFP timeline, scope of work, qualification requirements and response instructions. A Letter of Intent to apply for RFP must be submitted to Snohomish County by 4:00 p.m. local time on Friday, November 22, 2019.  Organizations not submitting a Letter of Intent by due date and time will forfeit their right to apply for RFP.  Letters of Intent to apply for RFP are to be submitted to:

STABILIZED HOUSING

Snohomish County is soliciting responses from organizations interested in providing Stabilized Housing services to individuals age sixty (60) and over residing in Snohomish County. The Stabilized Housing program promotes stable housing and independent living for vulnerable seniors with mental health and/or behavioral issues who meet vulnerability criteria.


The contract amount entered into as a result of this Request for Proposal will be negotiated with the successful RFP candidate and will be awarded July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021 with an estimated minimum funding of $159,776. There is no guarantee of ongoing funding.

ETHNIC MEAL SITE TRANSPORTATION

Snohomish County Long Term Care and Aging is soliciting responses from interested and qualified organizations for the contract for Ethnic Meal Site Transportation. The County expects to award one contract for $46,738 to serve all Snohomish County. This amount is subject to appropriation and there is no guarantee of funding. The first period of performance would be for July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021.
