Snohomish County Long Term Care and Aging (LTCA) is the designated Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for Snohomish County. Under the auspices of the county’s Department of Human Services, LTCA is responsible for developing a comprehensive and coordinated system of services for persons 60 years of age and over. LTCA also works to meet the needs of adults with disabilities through home and community-based services.
The Area Plan is developed every four years by the Area Agency on Aging as a response to current needs of the community. The plan outlines actions and programs the AAA will undertake to further its vision of an elder friendly community. Due to its size, this document may take longer to open than other files.
