COVID-19 Response Alert

With the emergency closure of the County Administration Building on March 17, 2020, the public is urged to perform any Snohomish County Public Works business over the phone or through email. 

Staff is monitoring email several times daily and will respond as promptly as possible. Please call our office during business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for up to date information and specific instructions on how to submit permit applications electronically. As the situation changes, we will attempt to keep this page updated.

Snohomish County Roads

Snohomish County Public Works is responsible for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of the transportation infrastructure system in unincorporated Snohomish County. Department staff takes care of 200 bridges and 1,650 miles of roadway. Laid end-to-end, the roads would reach from Everett to Green Bay, Wisconsin
