84th St NE - Little Pilchuck Creek Bridge #453

Project Description - Completed July 2013

In July 2013, Snohomish County replaced the bridge deck of Little Pilchuck Creek Bridge. The bridge is located south of Granite Falls and west of SR 92 on 84th Street NE (Getchell Road). The original bridge deck was cracked and damaged, and needed to be replaced to reduce maintenance costs and safely carry traffic.

At the same time crews repaired the bridge deck, another team replaced a culvert on Getchell Road just west of 105th Ave. NE. Crews replaced the old, small culvert with a new, larger box culvert. The new culvert will improve drainage in the area and reduce the risk of flooding.

Traffic Impacts

Snohomish County coordinated its closure with WSDOT's project to construct two roundabouts on SR92 - at 99th Avenue NE and at 113th Avenue NE. Visit WSDOT's project web page for information.
