Due to the recent COVID-19 declared federal, state, and local emergency, and pursuant to Governor Inslee’s Proclamations 20-05 and 20-28, the Snohomish County Council office is closed and will be holding remote meetings. The Council encourages the public to participate remotely during this health emergency.

You will be able to provide public comment remotely by participating in the meeting. E-mailing comment 24 hours prior to the desired meeting will ensure your comment is distributed to Councilmembers and appropriate staff.

ORDINANCE 20-005, relating to growth management; concerning lot size averaging; amending chapter 30.23 of the Snohomish County Code (ECAF 70004)

*Marshland Flood Control District, the appellant, has voluntarily dismissed its appeals in the cases of Brasswood and Remington Ranch, listed below. The County Council will not be conducting public hearings, but will convene to accept the dismissals. Council will not receive any argument from parties-of-record.
Council considers an appeal of the Snohomish County Hearing Examiner’s January 2, 2020, Decision in the case of Brasswood LSA, File No. 18-125417 PSD/SPA located at 8028 E. Lowell Larimer Road, Snohomish, WA, requesting approval of 60 lot preliminary subdivision using lot size averaging and administrative site plan subject to urban residential design standards.
Council considers an appeal of the Snohomish County Hearing Examiner’s January 10, 2020, Decision in the case of Remington Ranch PSD, File No. 19-104881 PSD/SPA located at 6500 block of E. Lowell Larimer Road, Snohomish, WA, requesting approval of 63 lot preliminary subdivision using lot size averaging and administrative site plan subject to urban residential design standards.
