In 2013, Snohomish County Road Maintenance replaced a failing culvert under 180th St SE in the Clearview area south of Snohomish, west of Fales Road. After failing culverts such as this are removed around the county they are being replaced with larger units to facilitate fish passage, prevent stormwater overflow, and to maintain the integrity of roads.
