The county's Road Maintenance Division bridge crew will replace several piles supporting the bridge deck during 2014. Seattle University students are also doing a type, size, and location report, as their student project during 2014-2015, to identify options for replacing the bridge at some point in the future.
The bridge is located approximately 10 miles east of Granite Falls on Mountain View Drive, which connects to the Mountain Loop Highway.
The bridge may have to be closed for up to three weeks to complete the repair work. A date has not yet been identified.
