Trout Creek Br No. 603 - repair

June 23, 2014 Update:
The bridge will be closed to all  pedestrians and vehicles July 14, 15, and possibly July 16. Work will continue until July 17 or 18 as needed.

Description

Trout Creek Bridge is a two-lane, primarily wood structure built in 1984. During 2014 the county's Road Maintenance Division bridge crew will replace several rotting timbers supporting the bridge deck.

Seattle University students are also doing a type, size, and location report as their student project during 2014-2015. The report will identify options for replacing the bridge at some point in the future.

Location
The bridge is located approximately 10 miles east of Granite Falls on Mountain View Drive, which connects to the Mountain Loop Highway.

Schedule
The bridge will be fully closed July 14, 15, and possibly 16. Work to finish the project will continue until July 17 or 16, if needed, after the bridge reopens.
