Alderwood Mall Parkway Pedestrian Improvements

Description - Completed Summer 2020

Snohomish County Public Works filled in two sidewalk gaps on the east side of Alderwood Mall Parkway between 164th St SW and 168th St SW. The combined length of the new sidewalks is approximately 220 feet. New shoulder, curb, gutter, sidewalks, planter strips, drainage facilities, and retaining walls was also constructed as part of the project. Other improvements include re-striping the roadway to add a northbound travel lane and improve associated ADA facilities where needed.

Schedule

Construction on this project began in March 2020 and was completed by summer 2020.

Environmental Review

An environmental review and right-of-way acquisitions have been completed for this project. 

Funding

This project is funded by the Snohomish County Road Fund.
