Snohomish County announces the availability of an estimated $500,000 ($100,000/annually) in HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) funds for Tenant-Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) program for program years 2020 to 2024. Funding is estimated at this time and additional funding may become available through re-allocation of prior year funds or through increased federal allocations in future years.
Tenant-based rental assistance program to assist extremely low-income and low-income persons who are experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness, or unstably housed to obtain permanent housing. This population includes individuals, families, unaccompanied youth, and/or persons with special needs. Funds may only be used to provide security and utility deposits.
Agencies interested in applying for these funds are strongly encouraged to attend the Pre-Application Workshop on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, from 2:00 to 4:00 in Glacier Peak Meeting Room, located on the sixth floor of the Snohomish County Robert J. Drewel Building (Administration East), 3000 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, WA 98201.

The application deadline is Tuesday, November 12, 2019 no later than 4 p.m. (regardless of the manner submitted). No applications will be accepted after this deadline. Electronic copies should be submitted to OCHS Applications. If unable to submit electronically, signed project proposals maybe delivered in-person or mailed. Mailed applications must be posted in time to be received by the deadline.
