About the Opioid Project

The Snohomish County Human Services Department is providing opioid overdose prevention education throughout the county. Managed by the County’s Behavioral Health Division, the Opioid Project’s two main goals are:

  1. Provide information across the county regarding Naloxone, an antidote used to treat an opioid overdose; and
  2. Provide information and assistance to reduce barriers for individuals seeking substance use disorder treatment and resources.

Go to http://stopoverdose.org/ to find pharmacies in your area that carry naloxone.
