Larch Way/Logan Road and Locust Way Intersection Improvement Project
Snohomish County Public Works is proposing improvements to the Larch Way/Logan Road and Locust Way intersection. These improvements are expected to improve traffic flow and expand mobility for bicyclists and pedestrians. Intersection improvements may include the addition of a traffic signal and two left turn pockets. This project is currently in the design report phase with construction estimated to begin in 2019.
2017-2018: Prepare design report, survey, environmental review, right-of-way acquisition and public involvement
2019- 2020: Estimated construction (pending funding)
Funding for construction has not been secured yet. More Information on the right-of-way acquisition process can be found on our Before we Build Pamphlet.
Snohomish County will complete an environmental review of the proposed project area in compliance with the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA).
Snohomish County Public Works held a public meeting on June 15, 2017 to discuss two projects in this area. The projects were the 14th Ave W road extension and the Logan Rd, Larch Way and Locust Way intersection improvements. Staff was available to answer questions, review proposed improvements, and gather feedback on potential designs.
