- Locust Way and Larch Way - Bothell (2023)
Utility relocation work is scheduled to begin at the end of March 2023. Occasional single-lane closures are expected as crews relocate underground and overhead utility lines in preparation for the construction of the roundabout.
Residents in the vicinity of the Larch Way/Logan Rd and Locust Way Intersection Improvement Project may see more field activity associated with the upcoming project. Crews are scheduled to verify underground utilities, along with continued right-of-way and survey work. For those with property abutting the construction area, more information on the right-of-way process can be found here.
Snohomish County Public Works is proposing to construct a single lane roundabout at the Larch Way/Logan Road and Locust Way intersection. In addition to the roundabout, roadway improvements consisting of curbs, gutters, and a shared-use path will be constructed. These improvements are expected to improve traffic flow and expand mobility for bicyclists and pedestrians. This project is currently in the design and right-of-way phase with construction estimated to begin in 2023.
Funding
Funding for construction is secured using County Road Funds. More Information on the right-of-way acquisition process can be found on our Before we Build Pamphlet.
