Snohomish County Public Works replaced 550 LF of 12 inch pipe along 26th Drive SE, and a culvert under 104th Pl SE. Ditches were regraded as needed along 26th Dr. SE and 104th Pl SE. The project improved working condition of this nonstandard and deteriorating drainage system to alleviate road and property flooding.
Construction began in October 2018 and was finished in December 2018.
Appropriate detour route, signage, and traffic control were provided to route traffic around the construction site. Property owners adjacent to the work area were contacted and given project and Surface Water Management contact information.
The estimated construction cost for this project was $124,700.
Construction schedules are subject to change based on many factors that include: public safety; availability of funding, staffing, equipment and materials; right of way issues; permitting requirements; coordination with utilities and other agencies; soil conditions under roadway and seasonal changes.
