Crystal Lake

Crystal Lake is a private lake located south of Maltby adjacent to the Snohomish-King County line. The lake is 54 acres and has a maximum depth of 32.8 feet. There are extensive wetlands north of the lake. A private, gated residential community surrounds the lake on the remaining three sides. The lake outlet is dammed and drains south to Cottage Lake and Bear Creek.

Recreational Opportunities

Recreational activities are limited to Crystal Lake Residents.

Internal combustion motors are not allowed on Crystal Lake - see Snohomish County Code Title 12 and the Parks and Recreation Boating Regulations for more information.

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) maintains informational pages for each lake in Washington that include: fish stocking schedules, fishing prospect calendars, and boat launch information.

Homeowners around Crystal Lake are a part of Crystal Lake Inc., a private lake association which also owns much of the area surrounding the lake.

Lake Health and Additional Resources

As part of Snohomish County's Lake Management Program, County staff and volunteer lake monitors have been tracking the health of Crystal Lake since 1994.
