Construction work on this project is scheduled to begin on July 6. The road will be closed and a signed detour route will be in place from 6 a.m. on Monday, July 6 through 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 11. Public Works and the construction contractor will be practicing COVID-19 prevention protocols during this project. Please maintain 6-foot social distancing.
Snohomish County Public Works is scheduled to replace a culvert under Rice Rd (339th Ave SE) during summer 2020. The two existing failing culverts are undersized and will be replaced with a single 24-inch corrugated plastic storm sewer pipe.
The construction work is scheduled to begin on July 6. The road will be closed and a signed detour route will be used for a week starting July 6.
To install the new culvert, Rice Rd is scheduled to be closed in the 13400 block during construction. A signed detour route will be posted. Emergency services will be notified of the project and prepared to provide assistance to residents during the road closure.
This project cost estimate is $80,715 and will be funded through the county Surface Water Utility funds.
