Rivershore/Riverview Rd Flood Repairs

Description


Due to recent flooding, Snohomish County Public Works made repairs to three locations on Rivershore Rd in 2021 and will be making repairs on three additional locations on Riverview Rd and Rivershore Rd in 2022. The work consists of embankment repairs and constructing a reinforced geogrid slope (soil wrap walls).

Schedule


  • Work on locations 4-6 occurred in 2021.
  • Work on locations 1-3 are expected to begin on July 5, 2022 and is expected to be completed in September 2022.
  • Work can only be completed during daylight hours and low or negative tides.
  • Crews will be working approximately Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with the possibility of weekend work needed depending on tides.

Traffic Impact


  • There will be single-lane closures around the clock during construction. Traffic will be controlled by a temporary traffic signal. Access will be maintained for residents and emergency services.  There could be short delays while work is occurring.
