DC Payments & Collection Information

The Snohomish County District Court offers the convenience of making your fine payment online. Online payments will be processed the following business day.


Drop Box

A drop box is located at each division of the District Court. You may drop off payments and/or hearing requests. Please include full name and case number on all documents. Please do not place cash in the drop box.

Payment Plan Option

Fines imposed in court or via mail are due within 30 days. If you cannot pay within 30 days, complete a Signal Management Services Time Pay Application per their instructions and submit the application to Signal Credit Management within 30 days of the fine being imposed.

Traffic Infraction Due Date

If you were issued a traffic infraction and choose to pay the fine, please note that your payment is due 30 days from the date of violation as indicated on your copy of the traffic infraction, or 33 days after the date indicated on the notice of infraction letter mailed from the court. After the 30th day from the date of violation, or 33rd day past the date indicated on the notice of infraction letter mailed from the court, a late penalty of $52 will be assessed.

The court only accepts payments for fines and penalties not yet referred to collection. Fines and penalties not yet referred to collection may be paid in person at one of the four divisions or can be mailed to:

The court accepts Visa, Mastercard, checks, or cash. Please make checks and money orders payable to Snohomish County District Court.

Collection Information

If you have received a collection notice, you must pay the fine or penalty in full by the date due on the collection notice to avoid being referred to the collection agency. Once your fine or penalty has been referred to collection, you must pay AllianceOne directly. The court cannot accept your payment. It is recommended that you pay by cashiers check, money order, or you can make your AllianceOne payment online.
