Involuntary Treatment Administration

Program Services

The Involuntary Treatment Program evaluates individuals who are suffering from an acute mental health or substance use disorder and are alleged to pose a danger to themselves, others, property, or who are gravely disabled, for involuntary psychiatric treatment or secure detox treatment.
  • We evaluate individuals who may require emergency psychiatric or secure detox hospitalization
  • We arrange admissions to the evaluation & treatment and secure detox facilities
  • We seek and rule out less restrictive alternatives to hospitalizations
  • We provide court liaison work for individuals detained in Snohomish County
