- Locust Way - Bothell (2023)
Snohomish County Surface Water Management (SWM), a division of the Department Conservation and Natural Resources is replacing a culvert on Trickle Creek located at 23325 Locust Way. The current culvert is failing and is a barrier to fish passage. It will be replaced with a structure designed to allow fish passage.
Utility relocations are expected to begin in spring 2023 and construction is expected to begin in July and be completed by the end of October. Construction crews will be working Monday - Friday during daylight hours.
Construction will require a full 24/7 closure of Locust way at 23325 Locust Way, with detour route via 228th St SW, 14th Ave W and Lockwood Rd. See map. The closure is expected to last up to two months.
This project is funded by Surface Water Management fees.
