Planning Commission Briefings

Background

Snohomish County is updating its Comprehensive Plan to help create a resilient, vibrant, and inclusive future so that all residents can thrive. The 2024 Comprehensive Plan will include 12 topical elements. The policies within each of the elements are being reviewed to better align with state laws and public input. This webpage contains links to materials and videos of staff briefings presented to the Planning Commission. The commission's role is to discuss and make recommendations to the County Council, the legislative body that will consider the Comprehensive Plan Update by December of 2024.
