Probation Programs

 Youth are referred to these services by their probation counselor.

Aggression Replacement Training (ART):  ART is an Evidence Based Program for moderate or high risk youth that has been shown to be effective at reducing recidivism by addressing skill deficits in emotional regulation and problem solving.  

Coordination of Services (COS): In Snohomish County our COS program is called “Way Out”:  COS is an Evidence Based Program that has been shown to be effective at reducing recidivism by addressing communication and other relational deficits with low risk youth/parents.

Education & Employment Training (EET):  In Snohomish County, our EET program is called “Trails to Success” or TTS:  EET is an Evidence Based Program for moderate or high risk youth that has been shown to be effective at reducing recidivism by providing education and employment training.

Functional Family Therapy (FFT):  FFT is an Evidence Based Program for moderate or high risk youth that has been shown to be effective at reducing recidivism by addressing family dynamics and skill deficits.

Girls Only Active Learning (GOAL):  GOAL is a “Promising Program” that is likely to be effective at reducing recidivism by addressing emotional regulation and skill deficits in moderate or high risk girls.  This is a gender specific intervention.
