Body Found Near Burned Vehicle

At approximately 3:30 PM this afternoon, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a Suspicious Circumstances incident in the 7300 block of Woods Creek Road, Monroe, Washington.

A citizen had called 911 to report finding a burned-out vehicle that had been located on private property, backed into some trees, with a deceased person found outside the vehicle.  We do not currently know if there is a connection between that vehicle and the property it was located on.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit is currently beginning an investigation into the incident.
