Today at about 10:45 am Snohomish County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 6500 block of 240TH ST SE, Woodinville, in unincorporated Snohomish County, to a report of a fatal collision between a bicyclist and a car.  The bicyclist, believed to be a man in his 60s, died at the scene from injuries received when he struck an oncoming vehicle while attempting to pass other cyclists ahead of him.  His hometown is believed to be Kent, Washington and the Snohomish County Medical Examiner will be responsible for positive identification of the victim, and determining the cause and manner of death.
