Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies have two in custody following a pursuit that ended with a rollover of the suspect vehicle off of Quil Ceda Blvd. this morning.
The incident began when deputies spotted the vehicle, which was reported to have been used in an armed robbery of an espresso stand in the Machias area earlier this month. When they attempted to pull the vehicle over, the driver fled and a pursuit was initiated. Sheriff’s deputies attempted to end the pursuit using a “pit” maneuver and the driver rammed three patrol cars before the pursuit ended with the vehicle rolling over on the side of the road.
Two suspects, a 30 year-old female and 32 year-old male, were taken into custody and no injuries were reported. It is unclear at this time whether they are the suspects in the espresso stand robbery, which remains under investigation by the Major Crimes Unit detectives.
