UPDATE: Sheriff’s Office Investigating Car vs Pedestrian Collision in Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD, Wash. – The investigation of a car vs pedestrian collision at 164th St SW and 36th Ave W will be wrapping up in the next hour. At this time, investigators are only able to confirm that the victim is an adult male - no additional information is available. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle, a 48 year-old male, has been cooperating with investigators. The cause of the accident is still unknown at this time and is being investigated by detectives from the Collision Investigation Unit. The accident was reported around 6 AM.

LYNNWOOD, Wash. – The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is on-scene at a car vs pedestrian collision at 164th St SW and 36th Ave W. The male pedestrian was transported to the hospital. Some of the lanes of 164th St SW will be closed for the accident investigation and morning commuters should consider finding an alternative route.
