The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man who was riding his mountain bike in the Paradise Valley Conservation Area today. A hiker in the area called 911 around 1 p.m. to report that he and others were performing CPR on a man found injured near a popular biking trail. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by aid responders.
Investigators with the Snohomish Medical Examiner have not yet identified the victim, but believe he is a male in his 60’s. The results of the death investigation are pending the ME’s determination of cause and manner of death, but there is nothing to indicate a suspicious death at this time.
No additional details will be released until the ME has identified the victim.
