The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office responded to two separate calls of shots fired outside the city of Lake Stevens tonight.
In the first incident, at around 6 PM a 35 year-old woman reportedly threatened her 35 year-old husband with a shotgun at the 10000 block of 38th Pl SE. The woman was arrested and booked into Snohomish County Jail for assault.
The second incident occurred at around 6:20 PM, when a call came in that a man and woman were arguing at the 17400 block of Ok Mill Rd. Shots were reported to have been heard from behind the house. When deputies arrived, it appeared that a woman was fleeing and a man barricaded himself in the house. After about 20 minutes, the male turned himself over to police without incident. Deputies detained the man and discovered two women were also inside the house. After further investigation, all three were arrested and booked into Snohomish County Jail; the 61 year-old male is a fugitive wanted by the State of California, the 31 year-old woman and 40 year-old woman were booked for outstanding warrants from local agencies.
No injuries were reported in either incident.
