STANWOOD, Wash. – Detectives with the Snohomish County Auto Theft Task Force (SNOCAT) recovered a stolen boat, boat trailer and travel trailer, worth a total estimated value of $44,000, after serving a warrant today.
The boat and boat trailer were originally reported stolen from Lake Sammamish to the Bellevue Police Department in early May of 2014. The travel trailer was reported stolen from the Lake Stevens area to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office in late May of 2014.
The boat and trailers were located after someone contacted detectives and provided the location of the stolen items. After obtaining a search warrant, detectives located all three items on the back of the property at the 3200 block of 159th Pl NW.
All of the stolen items were returned to victims today.
SNOCAT is dedicated to investigating auto and heavy equipment theft in Snohomish County in partnership with Washington State Patrol and the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office with funding from WAPTA (Washington Auto Theft Prevention Authority).
