Plane Down Near Leaves Co-Pilot Dead, Pilot Critically Injured

GETCHELL, Wash. - The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office and local fire and aid units responded to a small plane crash at 11200 block of 125^th Ave NE of the Frontier Air Park between Marysville and Granite Falls. The 80 year-old male co-pilot died at the scene and the 66 year-old pilot was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center.  The incident was reported around 3:40 p.m. today by a witness and the National Transportation Safety Board will be investigating.
