Pursuit of Stolen Vehicle Ends with One in Custody

Lynwood, Wash. — The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office has a 27 year-old male in custody following a pursuit that ended here at Maple and the Alderwood Mall Parkway.

The incident began earlier around 10:45 a.m. at 122^nd St SW and Gibson Rd in Everett when an on-duty deputy confirmed that the vehicle being driven by the suspect had been reported stolen.  The deputy pursued the suspect and, when speeds reportedly exceeded 80 MPH, the pursuit was terminated.  Another Sheriff’s deputy saw the vehicle in the Lynnwood area and followed it to a dead-end.  The suspect fled the vehicle on foot, but was located nearby by a K9 unit.  The suspect has outstanding warrants out of King County.
