TULALIP, WASH. – Last night, the North County Property Crimes Unit served a search warrant on a residence here and took a 43-year-old violent felon, who has a history of threatening to harm law enforcement, and his 22-year-old girlfriend into custody. No use of force was required and there were no injuries to police or civilians.
The Marysville man will be booked into the Snohomish County Jail later today for trafficking in and possession of stolen property; conspiracy to commit armed robbery; possession of firearms; and possession of narcotics (VUCSA). The female suspect was booked into the Marysville jail on two outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
The warrant was served late last night at the 13000 block of 8th Dr NW with assistance from Region 1 SWAT, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Air Unit, Bellingham Police Department, and Marysville Fire Department. Police found two handguns inside the house, as well as small quantities of methamphetamine and heroin. Four vehicles were impounded last night and detectives will request a warrant to search the cars for additional evidence, including weapons, drugs, and stolen property.
Detectives will continue to investigate whether the male suspect was involved in additional criminal activity.
