EVERETT, WASH. – Beginning Tuesday, February 24 family and friends of inmates booked at the Snohomish County Jail will be able to schedule to visit inmates.  This new system also applies to professional visits, which could include attorneys, social workers, or health care professionals.  Previously, inmates were responsible for having corrections deputies schedule their visits.

Under the new system, all visitors must be registered, using a valid e-mail address, in order to schedule visits, which are done online (http://snohomishwa.gtlvisitme.com). Social visits must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance; professional visits must be scheduled at least four hours in advance.  Visits cannot be scheduled more than 14 days in advance.   As with the past system, there are no in-person social visits – these will still be conducted via video conferencing.  Only professional visits will be conducted in person.
