Stabbing Suspect Arrested in Bothell

Bothell, Wash. – A 19 year-old Bothell man was arrested today after allegedly stabbing his grandmother.  The incident was reported around 4 a.m. when the victim, a 58 year-old female, reported that her grandson had attacked her with a knife while she slept at her home near the 2200 block of 196^th St SW.  The suspect, who had been living with the victim, fled the residence, but was located after a search of the area by a K9 unit. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Snohomish County jail for 1^st degree attempted murder.  The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where she remains in critical condition.
