Stabbing Suspect Arrested in Bothell

Bothell, Wash. – A 19 year-old Bothell man was arrested today after allegedly stabbing his grandmother. The incident was reported around 4 a.m. when the victim, a 58 year-old female, reported that her grandson had attacked her with a knife while she slept at her home near the 2200 block of 196th St SW. The suspect, who had been living with the victim, fled the residence, but was located after a search of the area by a K9 unit. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Snohomish County jail for 1st degree attempted murder. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where she remains in critical condition.
