Burglary in progress with capture

Edmonds, Wash. – Deputies responded to a reported burglary of an occupied residence at the 12700 block of Maplewood Ave at about 10:50 a.m. in unincorporated Snohomish County. When confronted by a female at the residence, the male subject fled the scene. Deputies asked for assistance from Mukilteo Police and requested containment be set a for a K9 track in order to apprehend the subject. Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office units advised Endeavor Elementary School to lock down. The K9 unit tracked for approximately 2 hours and with the assistance of all units involved located the 29 year old white male from Arlington at the 12300 of Harbor Pointe Blvd. The subject was taken into custody without incident and later transported to the Snohomish County jail.
