Shooting Leaves Man Seriously Injured

MARYSVILLE, Wash. – A 64 year-old man shot his 30 year-old son at the 2800 block of 72nd St NE last night. A 911 call came in around 10 p.m. reporting a possible domestic violence incident at this location, followed by reports of shots fired. The wife of the suspect had reported that her husband was trying to shoot her as she fled the location. When deputies arrived, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center. His condition is unknown at this time.
The suspect was booked in Snohomish County jail for 1st degree domestic violence assault with a weapon.
