Stanwood Man Stabbed Early this Morning

STANWOOD, Wash. – A 42 year-old Stanwood man was stabbed in the chest this morning by a 47 year-old man at the 26200 block of Marine Dr.  Both the victim and suspect live on the same property, but in different residences.  The victim was returning home around 1:45 a.m. on his bicycle when he was confronted by the suspect in their shared driveway.  The suspect allegedly punched the victim, and then stabbed him.  The victim was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.  His current condition is unknown at this time.

The suspect is expected to be booked in Snohomish County jail later this morning.
