Sheriff’s Office Investigating Fatal Motorcycle vs Truck Collision

STANWOOD, Wash. – The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Collision Investigation Unit is investigating a fatal collision between a motorcycle and pick-up truck at the 1800 block of 268th St NW. The collision was reported around 6 a.m. after the motorcyclist, traveling eastbound on 268th St NW, struck the pick-up. The motorcyclist, who died at the scene, was believed to be a Stanwood resident in his 30’s. The 42 year-old male driver of the pick-up, who is uninjured, remained at the scene and is cooperating with detectives.
The road between Sunday Lake Rd and 28th Ave NW is currently closed for the investigation.
