Search to Resume for Missing Man at Lake Goodwin

STANWOOD, Wash. – The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office Dive Team will resume search operations this morning for a 52 year-old man who is believed to have drowned in Lake Goodwin. The man was reported to have been ejected from a boat on the lake last night just before midnight. The operator of the vessel, a 58 year-old Stanwood man, was believed to be intoxicated and could potentially face charges of homicide by watercraft pending the outcome of the investigation. Search operations were suspended around 3:30 a.m. and will resume around 8:30 this morning.
The boat launch at Wenberg Park will be closed until further notice as dive units resume their search for the missing man.
