Lynnwood, WASH. – A Lynnwood man in his forties fell from a moving vehicle today causing leg injuries. Snohomish County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 15100 BLK of Cascadian Way, Lynnwood at approximately 1145 AM regarding a disturbance between the injured man and his teenage son. At some point during the disturbance a 20 year old male acquaintance of the son arrived at the residence, presumably to give the son a ride. For reasons still under investigation the Lynnwood man jumped onto the acquaintance’s car and he drove off with the Lynnwood man still on the vehicle. A short time later the Lynnwood man fell from the vehicle and sustained a leg injury. He was ground transported to Harborview Hospital for treatment. The teenage son was not in the car at the time and remained at the scene. The driver initially fled the scene but later returned and is cooperating with investigators.
The injured man was treated by Fire District 1 personnel, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
